
Veg manchurian!
Tastes the best with veg fried rice!
One of my favourite vegetarian dishes. Vegetable balls fried and served in manchurian gravy.Fried rice with vegetables.
*Ingredients*
For vegetable balls:
Chopped cauliflower 150gm
Chopped cabbage 50gm
Chopped beans 50gm
Chopped carrots 50gm
Chopped chillies accordingly
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbps Maida (refined flour) 150gm
Corn flour 50gm Soya sauce 1/2 tbsp
Water
Salt accordingly Oil for frying
*For gravy*
Chopped 1 large onion
Chopped capsicum 50gm Finely chopped beans 25gm. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Sweet and sour sauce 2 tbsp
Water
Oil
*Directions*
For the balls
1. Take a bowl and add maida, garlic ginger paste and cornflour. Add water and make a thick paste. Add 1/2 tbsp soya sauce.
2. Add all the vegetables in a separate
bowl. Salt accordingly.
3. Make vegetable balls and cover them properly in the maida paste 4. Fry in a pan till brown.
*For gravy*
1. Heat the pan. Add 1tbsp oil. Add
onions, capsicum and beans. Stir fry for
a min.
2. Add ginger garlic paste and chillies. Stir for 1 min.
3. Add soya sauce. Add water and cook for 5-10 mins. Add salt.
4. Take 1 tbsp cornflour and mix in 3tbsp cold water. Then add this mixture into the gravy. 5. Add sweet and sour sauce.
6. Add vegetable balls and cook for 2 mins.
Serve hot with fried rice or noodles! Enjoy!.
